Our mission is to partner with you and your care team to offer restoration, optimize your role in active living, and give you a peace of mind by determining if Ketamine infusions or IV hydration is right for you.
Please reach us at info@collaborativewellnesscenter.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
At Collaborative Wellness Center, we offer Ketamine Infusion Therapy administered by experienced medical professionals to treat various conditions such as depression, anxiety, and chronic pain. In addition, we provide a variety of IV Hydration Cocktails to replenish vital nutrients, electrolytes, and fluids, promoting overall wellness and recovery.
IV hydration and weight management is available without the need for a referral. However, it is necessary to provide medical records before the commencement of Ketamine Therapy. A thorough evaluation will be carried to ensure the best possible care.
We are proud to inform you that we accept a variety of insurance plans and payment options to ensure that our services are accessible and affordable for all of our clients.
Ketamine, as a noncompetitive N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor antagonist, has a long-standing history of effective use in the induction and maintenance of anesthesia.
Decades of research has revealed the antidepressant properties of ketamine. This has led to its integration into the treatment and management of various psychiatric disorders and pain syndromes.
Patients with a history of treatment resistant depression (TRD), major depressive disorder (MDD), bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), schizophrenia, anxiety, and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). Additionally, its analgesic properties have made a significant impact on the treatment and management of chronic pain, post-surgical pain, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), neuropathic pain, and cancer pain.
We understand how important it is to address concerns about addiction. As a ketamine clinic, we have provided ketamine therapy to many patients, and I want to assure you that none of them has reported any symptoms of addiction. Your well-being is our priority.
Patients commonly feel tired or groggy after an infusion. This usually subsides entirely after a full night of sleep. Some patients experience mild nausea after an infusion, especially those prone to motion sickness. If you are prone to nausea, we can administer anti-nausea medicine before the infusion to help prevent it. Additionally, patients who experience nausea after an infusion usually feel much better after we provide additional anti-nausea medicine. Side effects typically dissipate within a few hours and are usually completely gone by the following day. There are no known long-term side effects of IV Ketamine Infusion Therapy when administered by a responsible clinician in a medical setting.
There is zero link between therapeutic ketamine use and bladder damage, also known as cystitis. The only known reports of bladder damage caused by ketamine are based on the abuse of street ketamine at doses 10-20 times the amount we administer, taken daily, over the years. There is only one study on this topic. Still, bladder cells were exposed to ketamine for 72 hours at concentrations several thousand times greater than the peak serum levels achieved in patients undergoing low-dose infusions of ketamine.

Our goal is for you to begin treatment within a few days of your first phone consultation. Most patients are seen within one week of their initial inquiry.
Mood disorder patients receive a series of 6 infusions over three weeks. Afterward, booster infusions may be provided on an as-needed basis for maintenance. Typically, booster infusions are two infusions, provided one to two days apart. On average, patients enjoy around three months of relief before needing boosters. Sometimes, the results of the initial series only last for a short time; in other cases, they last much longer. It is not unusual for patients to enjoy six months of relief or longer.
Pain patients receive a series of five, 4-hour long infusions over five consecutive days. Afterward, booster infusions may be provided on an as-needed basis for maintenance. Typically, booster infusions are two infusions provided on consecutive days or sometimes one to two days apart. On average, patients enjoy around three months of relief before needing boosters. Sometimes, the results of the initial series do not last as long, and in other cases, they last much longer. It is not unusual for patients to enjoy six months of relief or longer.
For mood disorder patients, low-dose ketamine is administered for 50-55 minutes, and patients are awake the entire time. Most patients have a mild dissociative experience during the infusion, with an increased sensitivity to light and sound and an altered perception of time. Most patients tolerate this without discomfort; many find the experience pleasant or interesting. In the rare case these side effects are considered unpleasant, other rapid-acting medications can be used to relieve or eliminate this discomfort. Once the infusion is complete, the dissociative effects rapidly dissipate and are often mostly gone within 20-30 minutes. There are no delayed “flashbacks,” and patients generally leave the clinic within 20-30 minutes following an infusion.
For pain patients, ketamine is administered over four hours. The amount given is higher than what mood disorder patients receive and can increase side effects such as dissociation. We use several adjuvants to decrease or eliminate the side effects that are associated with higher doses of ketamine. Patients generally take 60-90 minutes of rest following the infusion before they leave the clinic. There are no delayed “flashbacks,” and aside from being tired or fatigued, most feel much like themselves. We require pain patients to be picked up inside our clinic by a responsible adult.
We ask that you not eat or drink anything eight hours before your appointment; some water is okay two hours before your treatment. This decreases the chance of nausea and other complications.
You do not need someone to bring or remain with you during the infusion; someone must take you home. We advise you to refrain from driving a car, operating heavy/dangerous machinery, signing contracts, or participating in other potentially risky activities until the following morning.
Some mood disorder patients will begin to feel better within 1 hour of their first infusion. Patients with thoughts of self-harm or suicidal ideation often notice those thoughts and feelings dissipate first and almost completely. There is usually dramatic relief of dread and hopelessness. Other patients may not notice any improvement in mood until after completing an entire course of treatment, which is a series of 6 infusions. Most patients see some improvement the day after their 3rd infusion. Some patients require more infusions and more time following their infusions before feeling significant relief. It is important to note that the results of ketamine can be sudden and dramatic, but they are often not. It is more common for patients to see gradual, subtle improvement that increases over time. Sometimes, function improves before mood does.
It is uncommon for pain patients to see substantial relief before completing a full course of treatment, which consists of five infusions.
IV fluids are essential, specially formulated solutions administered into the vein to effectively prevent or treat dehydration and electrolyte imbalances.
Our bodies are 60% water. When a person experiences electrolyte imbalances or becomes dehydrated, IV hydration is needed to correct the imbalance and dehydration. Dehydration occurs when a person is vomiting, experiencing diarrhea, exposed to excessive heat, or unable to eat or drink for a long period of time. Dehydration can significantly impact the balance of electrolytes, mental performance, energy levels, and digestive function and may lead to headaches.
Healthy eating and oral supplements can promote great health and an anti-aging lifestyle. However, more than oral ingestion of vitamins is needed due to cofactors for proper absorption, a healthy balance of gut bacteria, and the liver's role in processing nutrients. These factors can hinder micronutrient delivery to targeted cells.
Prescription drugs and antibiotics can further reduce oral absorption. For example, proton pump inhibitors like Prilosec and Protonix alter stomach acid levels, disrupting digestion and gut bacteria health.
A significant percentage of people in Western cultures suffer from chronic malabsorption syndromes due to highly processed, inflammatory foods. Symptoms like bloating, heartburn, and irregular bowel movements indicate underlying malabsorption. This condition makes it difficult for the stomach and intestines to heal, leading to unhealthy cell production and continued malabsorption. Over time, this can trigger other medical disorders such as chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, heart disease, cancer, and cognitive impairment.
